Becker's Resort & Campground

Stayed two nights and wish we'd planned for a few more days. Awesome friendly owners and staff. Arranged a fishing guide, provided all gear and even cleaned our catch - five perch, two walleye and a huge northern pike. What a great treasure on Lake Winnie! Glad our son-in-law recommended it!

We stayed in a cabin and rented a day shack for ice fishing. Cabin was great. Lots of room, 2 bathrooms, kitchen filled with whatever items you need. Ice shack was basic but was very warm despite -30 temperatures. Owners came on checked on us each day to see how things were going and if there was anything else they could do to make our stay better. Would definitely go back.

We have been going to Becker's Resort for our family vacation the same week every year for over 30 years. Every year the owners do something to improve the resort. Great Fishing for the kids and adults, pool and playground for the children, and laid back atmosphere for all to enjoy. This is a gem in northern Minnesota that everyone will love!

Stayed here for the first time, 5 guys for ice fishing. Cabins were great - updated, clean and very comfortable. Tom was great with information, truly wants everyone to enjoy their time. We had a couple guys head to cabin for a couple hours during the day, they ran into Tom and he wound up delivering some food from the cabin to those who were still in the ice fishing house. Won’t find many owners doing things like that. We will definitely be back!

I planned a family vacation for a week at a neighboring resort just a bit down river and closer to Lake Winnibigoshish from Becker’s. When I got to the resort the owner was rude and informed me that he had taken all the lights off his boats because he did not want guests out on the lake after 8. This wasn’t disclosed on the website and was frustrating because in years past I had visited Becker’s and fished at night for walleyes. After driving 8 hours and feeling very disappointed I decided to call an audible and reach out to Tom and Jess at Becker’s. I ended up staying the week of August 22 2020 with them and rented a pontoon. They were excellent hosts. Not only was I able to night fish but Tom had added lights to the buoy’s to make the river easier to navigate after dark. The cabins were exceptionally clean and the boat attendants helped out the entire week with docking the pontoon boat. They even helped me clean fish when they had extra time. I really felt that the resort was very well run and that the owners went out of their way to make our trip a memorable one in a great way! I am already planning next years getaway back to Becker’s and can’t wait. It has been a while since I went somewhere and experienced the world class service that I have at Becker’s! Thanks to all the staff. I hope the fishing next year is as great as it was this year!

Awesome mattresses on their beds for a great night sleep. Cabins are clean and updated.

Everything about this resort is the very definition of inclusive. They have everything you could ever need on site. From the very reasonably priced wood, to the bait for the fisherman in your life, and all the way down to the awesome heated pool and ice cream for the kids I only have good things to say about Becker's Resort and Campground. However, even with that being said and all the great recreational possibilities, the best part is still how kind, understanding, and accommodating the owners are. They go above and beyond for their guests, and the customer service is nothing short of impressive. If you're looking for a new family tradition, this is a great place to start. I'm already planning our trip next year!!!

My family and I had a wonderful time here. Our cabin was very clean and nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. You get a covered boat slip with a cabin rental and the dock boy was very helpful with all of our needs including cleaning our fish!!! The location was great. The resort was clean. The fishing was great!! Had plenty of fish to take home. The one and only thing that could have been better, according to my teenage son, was better cell phone service and WiFi. We had no reception in our cabin and only the lodge has wifi.
